Without my Father here

My first father’s day without my father here,

He’s been gone now for awhile it will soon be a year,

It always makes us think back when these days they come,

That we should have said I love you more and things we should have done

I love you wasn’t mentioned much in the little home we had,

But there was lots to go around, for us from mom and dad,

But my last words that I spoke to him before he passed away,

Were the words I love You dad… Happy Father’s Day…
